The Reset terms, policies & waiver for Coaching, Private Breathwork sessions & Breathwork events.

Breathwork Contraindications: It is important to note that breathwork has the potential to bring about physiological changes and intense physical and emotional release. In the case of having any of the contraindicated conditions listed below it is highly important that individuals consult with a doctor healthcare professional and seek their approval before participating in a breathwork session or event. This precautionary measure is taken for the safety and well-being of the participants. Despite these precautions, individuals with contraindicated conditions who have been given clearance from their doctor will be welcome to attend a session or event. Please bring written permission from your healthcare provider.

  • Severe asthma

  • Complications from covid

  • Heart conditions (High Blood Pressure, Cardiovascular disease, angina, previous heart attack)

  • Stroke

  • Epilepsy or history of seizures

  • Acute physical injuries or Recent surgery

  • Diabetes

  • Severe PTSD or trauma

  • Severe mental illness issues. (Prior diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or previous psychiatric condition)

  • Any other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions which would impair or affect the ability to engage in any activities that involve deep physical and/or emotional release

  • Detached Retina

  • Glaucoma

  • Kidney disease

  • Diagnosis of aneurysm in the brain or abdomen

  • Uncontrolled thyroid conditions

  • Pregnant women: (If you are pregnant please know that the particular styles and techniques of breathwork that The Reset facilitate can be harmful to the gestation process. There is not enough scientific studies to show that this can be a safe process for pregnant women. Please do not book or attend if you are pregnant.)

Cancellation policy for prepaid coaching packages, prepaid breathwork packages, prebooked private breathwork sessions:  If cancelling a coaching session or breathwork session is necessary, at least 24 hours notice is required. Cancelling within 24 hours will occur 100% of the fee. If you fail to show up for your prebooked breathwork session without any notice you are liable for 100% of the fee. In the case of having prepaid for coaching or a set of breathwork sessions and you fail to show up without any notice, the session will be considered completed/used and we will move onto the next week of coaching or the next prepaid breathwork session.

Cancellation & refund policy for events: If for some reason this event is cancelled before the date it start you will receive a full refund. There are no refunds for the event in the case of you having purchased a ticket and not being able to attend. The fee is non-refundable for failure to show up for the event. If for whatever reason you cannot attend the event someone else can attend with your ticket. Please send an email to steven@theresetnz.co.nz to detail your transfer of ticket.

Recording devices: In order to protect the privacy of those attending The Reset breathwork events, the use of recording devices by attendees are not allowed during the event.

By partaking in coaching, private breathwork sessions or attending a breathwork event you acknowledge, understand and accept the following:

  • Steven Todd is not a licensed medical professional.

  • Reset Breathwork is not intended to replace professional medical or healthcare services.

  • The session is not intended to provide a diagnosis, prescription, treatment, cure or prevention for any disease, disorder, or injury, either physical or mental.

  • There is no guarantee that breathwork will be effective for every person.

  • Abide by the cancellation and no-show policies as stated above.

  • Fully abide by and accept the waiver of liability below.

  • Have read the contraindications above and have taken full precaution and are fully responsible for adhering to the contraindications

Waiver of Liability:

  • You agree to accept and assume any risks to your health and well-being, including any risk of injury or harm, whether such risks have been disclosed or not that may arise from partaking in coaching, private breathwork session or attending an event.

  • You fully release and discharge Steven Todd, his representatives, affiliates, assigns, employees, and agents from any and all actions, suits, liabilities, losses, damages, claims, or expenses, for negligence or otherwise, arising from your participation in The Reset coaching, private breathwork session or breathwork events

  • By purchasing The Reset coaching, private breathwork session or tickets to a breathwork event you confirm that you have read and understand this informed consent and waiver, and that you freely and voluntarily agree to its terms.
